Seasons of Chandeliers | AD

It's been a while, but I'm pleased to announce that my four-month hiatus away from this blog has not been in vain- I've actually been busy redecorating.
If you didn't know, I moved back in March into a cosy little central apartment and have been spending all my spare change on filling an unfurnished fifth floor tower block apartment with my own furniture- this is adulting at its finest!

Since I am almost done, I have been on the hunt for some finishing touches to give my apartment so personality nd actually came across some new trends of lighting that I haven’t actually seen much before, but am actually loving.

While I tend to stick to floor lamps or bedside table lamps, I have been really feeling a chandelier lately, just because I finally have my own space back and I am now in complete control of the décor choices.

I have always wanted a chandelier in my room since I was young- they give any empty space a little bit of glam, style and of course, make everything else look expensive. Some chandeliers also give off certain vibes, so I challenged myself to pick my favourite chandelier for each season.

This week, I was introduced to LightsinHome, an online homeware company who specialise in fancy and unique lighting solutions including wall lamps, ceiling fans and pendant lamps; and that’s where I came across antler chandeliers, which scream the much anticipated autumn/ winter season.

Honestly, they are a bit too boujee for my apartment (not to mention pretty large) but they are just so interesting to look at. Thankfully, the antler decorations are faux.

AUTUMN (bottom left)
Rose gold is all the rave right now and the coppery pink shade would look stunning against an over-the-balcony view of a park full of golds and greens during autumn- this Rustic 12-Light Two-Tiered Candle Antlers Chandelier is perfect.

WINTER (bottom right)
Next for winter, the harsh white of this antler chandelier 22" Diameter Chandeliers 6-Light Fabric Shade K9 Crystal and its dainty dripping crystals remind of snow and icicles. Such a beautiful piece and of course, a classic chandelier that any girl would love. Throw a little mistletoe underneath and you have yourself a Christmas party centre piece!

SPRING (top left)
Spring (oh so far away) is perfectly reflected in this piece from Anthropologie. Of course, you are going to need some kind of flower on a spring inspired chandelier, so this Pearled Magnolia Chandelier, which features bloomed magnolia flowers in their springtime glory, hits the spot. I mean, the detail on this is striking!

SUMMER (top right)

Last but not least is summer, which is currently on its last legs in the UK. Nevertheless, nothing represents summer better than a burst of hot sunshine; I came across the Astra Chandelier, also from Anthropologie when I was shopping for rugs ironically, and automatically fell in love. I feel like these types of unique chandeliers are more art than furniture pieces, and for just over $3,000, quite rightly so!

If you are in need of some more beautiful lighting inspiration, be sure to check out this inspo blogpost; more chandeliers and light fixtures for affordable prices are also available at LightsinHome and if you are particularly interested in antler chandeliers, click here!

Tell me which of these lights is your favourite- mine is the classic white Winter inspired chandelier!

God Bless,

xoxo
